The artwork here reflects the previous incarnation of Kimberly’s website. The new iteration is Activated Global Inc.
Description
Here the goal was to create an almost mural like piece to serve as a background image for a quotation.
To begin we have a blacked out yoga figure and a lovely, hand drawn paisley like image that will be used to add some artistic flare to the yoga figure.
The hand drawn paisleys go through a few filters to elicit some vibrant colours in place of the earthy tones.
With a few tweaks the yoga figure is placed in the mountainous environment, but remains separate as a layer to work with in the image.
Below are the final results; variations on a theme, moving from dark to light, vibrant to subdued.
